Avodart (Dutasteride) – an effective treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy
One of the most common urological diseases affecting men in the second part of life is benign. Prostatic hypertrophy is an age related hormonal disorder associated with high testosterone concentration in prostate. Presently benign prostatic hypertrophy is no longer a life threatening condition, since it is well treated in most cases. The disease requires some changes in lifestyle. The restrictions to adhere to are:
Limit liquid intake (especially in the evening)
Avoid visiting places with toilet difficult of access
Limit social activity
Limit sexual activity
Avoid long travels by car
Patients with prostatic hypertrophy usually have sleep problems since they should wake up at nights many times for urination.
Very often such patients experience shame and embarrassment when the manifestations of the disease become obvious to other people. Moreover, the disease may tell on immediate family, for example wives of patients suffering from prostatic hypertrophy usually do not have enough sleep because of constant awakenings of their husbands.
Therapy and prevention of benign prostatic hypertrophy with (Dutasteride) gives best results. Avodart (Dutasteride) reduces the size of prostate gland, improves urination and reduces the risk to develop acute urinary difficulty and eliminates the need for surgical treatment. Read More.
