Verapamil – hypertension(high blood pressure) control
If you suffer from high blood pressure the best way to avoid medications is diet change, reduction of body mass, regular exercises, and reduction of alcohol and salt intake.
A little rise in blood pressure could be controlled with proper diet habits and physical exercises. But if these measures do not lead to relief, it makes sense to resort to drug therapy. A good solution for treating hypertension is Verapamil. The medicine is recommended to start from a low dose. An indubitable advantage of the Verapamil against other hypertension drugs is its low price and high quality. Verapamil belongs to class of medicines called calcium channel-blocking agents. Calcium channel-blocking agents are mainly used for treating stenocardia, arrhythmia, coronary vessel diseases and for reducing hypertension. Verapamil helps to control hypertension. This medicine improves general health condition making it possible for patient to exercise. As soon as your pressure normalizes and keeps like that for a year or so, it is reasonable to reduce the dosage of Verapamil and pay more attention to non-medical methods of treatment.
