Allergy treatment
If you are prone to allergy you should keep to some rules to avoid acute conditions. First of all keep the room where you live or work clean. Air it regularly and don not allow dust (especially animal hair) to accumulate on carpets and coverlets. Do not eat too much meat and refuse spicy food. If your allergy recurs regularly, contact an allergist to indentify the allergen in order to avoid it in the future. There is a number of effective medicines for treating pollen disease (the most common type of allergy also called pollinosis). Allegra, Claritin successfully eliminate such symptoms of pollen disease as lacrimation, itching in the nose, redness of skin in the eye region, etc. In serious cases they are indeed irreplaceable in spite of the side effects these medicines may cause. The only medicine which may successfully replace the mention two during seasonal exacerbation of the disease is Zyrtec.
Zyrtec is much safer and does not form an addiction and does not dry the nasal mucous membrane. It is recommended that the treatment with Zyrtec be started 1-1,5 months before the allergen plant is expected to blossom. Zyrtec is either effective for treating seasonal allergic rhinitis and for other forms of allergy which are not associated with pollen (caused by domestic dust, animal hair, etc). Zyrtec can be successfully used with any allopathic medication. Zyrtec helps to reduce the dosage of medicines used for treating allergy and thus reduces the chances of experiencing side effects, and, what is more important, helps to enjoy the spring and summer charms without caring about kerchiefs.
